KINTSUGI COURSES
Since 2018 we have collaborated with the Brescia association Esa (Active Health Education) to organize kintsugi courses at the Breast Unit of the Spedali Civili of Brescia.
This was the beginning of a project that is expanding on a larger scale that sees us involved on a practical and emotional level. In practice, the participants repair, with the non-original kintsugi technique, a ceramic brought from home or supplied by us, while a psychologist helps to reflect on the gesture and internalize the metaphor that this brings with it.
We are convinced that those who are fortunate in life have the moral duty to help those who are suffering, with the means best suited to them.

For years we have collaborated with various associations and held pro bono courses in healthcare facilities. Cascina Cantalupa San Paolo Hospital in Milan, Life Space Spinal Unit Niguarda Hospital, Trento Family Friends Association, Villa Luce Betania Group residence Milan, Association of bereavement survivors Genoa, Lecco women’s telephone, Cral Tumor Institute, Cascina rosa Tumor Institute Milan, Venus, Il Cante di Montevecchio Fano.

Current society has found itself facing a global crisis, due to the pandemic, that no one would have ever imagined. This is why we thought that, through kintsugi, it is possible to convey a message of hope, so that anyone can believe in turning this moment of difficult change into an opportunity. Many artists have interpreted kintsugi as a tool for urban redevelopment, we are doing it in the most deprived neighborhoods together with school and parish children.
